Become a PGA Member

There are two pathways that lead to PGA membership — the PGA PGM Associate Program and the PGA Golf Management University Program.

PGM University

The PGA Golf Management University Program, a 4.5- to 5-year college curriculum for aspiring PGA Professionals is offered at PGA accredited universities nationwide.

Playing Ability Test

The Playing Ability Test or “PAT” is a measure of golfing ability. It means PGA Professionals have the skills needed to teach and grow the game.

Drive Chip & Putt

Competition for Ages 7-15.

Junior players can take their skill to the next level with this nationwide junior golf qualifier for the National Finals.

Ho’olaule’a Awards Ceremony

The annual Hawaii Golf Ho’olaule’a Awards Ceremony honors Hawaii’s golf champions.

PGA Junior League

PGA Jr. League is an opportunity for boys and girls to learn and play golf.

Welcome to the Aloha Section PGA’s website, a portal to golf tournaments and events for PGA golf professionals and amateurs. Stay up-to-date with the latest news about golf here in Hawaii.

The Aloha Section PGA, a non-profit organization, is one of 41 PGA Sections of the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of America and serves 236 members and apprentices statewide and 90 facilities. The section was incorporated in 1975.

Our mission is to promote interest, participation, enjoyment, and involvement in the game of golf. Further, it is to elevate the standards of the profession for our members and to enhance benefits to our employers.
